Welcome to Prague boys...

After arriving in Prague and eventually finding our spot, we moved to the Zizkov tower to install Robert's and Florian's mindbending piece. All game art pieces were shown at the tower. The second picture above is just a small impression of the gorgeous view you have from 120 meters above the ground.

We found that the festival wasn't that much scattered through the city, with most dance performances to show at the Vitkov Monument and most sound/visual performances to be held at the palac akropolis.
The Vitkov Monument was by far the most exhausting place to get to, nonetheless it was the most impressive as well.

Let's see some of the dance pieces that were shown there. First, there was that piece called VIRUS. A collaboration of ballet preljocaj and CIANT, a media Lab in prague. It had lasers in it and live motion capturing and game characters and light and projections and whatnot. I guess i'm about the only one that found something intriguing about the piece. I loved the dance. It was so well done.

The end was fucked, though. They sampled the windows "shut down" sound and it stretched soooo long...

The Zizkov tower that i mentioned before...

Whereas in the evenings, some rather abstract sessions took place at Palac Akropolis...

alright, that's about enough for today. More to come tomorrow.
