home sweet home
well, long time no write. This year's festival really dragged me down, energy wise and i really needed some time to relax. After all was set and done (well, at least as much as it was possible to set and do) i took a week off on the lonely little mountain village of Ramsau - home of the world famous Ramsaurier - where cows are not a myth and grass is actualy green...
Thanks for that hannah!
Here's a look at the bathroom and - the stars (thousands and thousands of them, so bright you could take a photo!)

I could have taken loads of picture but wasn't really in the mood. It was great fun to just be there, with (almost) nothing on your mind and relax a little...
One of the reasons i wrote so little in the past couple of weeks was not just the festival but also a switch of computers. I do have a new laptop now and it took a while to set everything up again. That said, i should also be online more often - instantMessage wise - after recovering my lost password.
Right now, i'm back in the Stuttgart area to take care of my university degree and see what courses i can do remotely, as i'm going to be off for quite some time again in the next couple of weeks.
But it's not just fun and games (read: work and programming) it's also a bit of family and relaxation.

And do enjoy meeting lots and lots of people that i haven't seen in months, or even years. It is SO good to see all of you. I just wish i had more time to just listen and talk a bit...
On another note, i was giving a workshop on unreal machinima with the always funny Klaus Neumann from machinimadeutschland fame.
The workshop ran smooth and was great fun. Plus, i really dig the way those people approach youth-policy and socialwork, taking into account the way young people think and play games and structuring the work together with the demands of the people they serve - the kids.
Hoooray for this one!

There's much more to be written, but i'll leave that to another day.
