First, they told you that they're the best, the one and only.
Sure, you have to cope with that somehow but you're used to it living in a pluralistic world order.
Then, they wanted you to believed that only this one particular radio station plays the best hits of the 70s, 80s and the SUPERhits of today. And they ALL claimed for SUPREMACY!!!
Ok, harder. Heavy breathing. But you still did your job, closed your eares when the jingles aired and tried to wipe away the tears and listen to the one good song they played every fifteen minutes or so.
And there were those nice little stories they told sometimes that made you laugh a little.
But now, they want to convince you that "you have the best taste in music" and "only we play it."
Hard enough, they do not intend to stop at this point. Seamlessly, without the slightest of pauses they go on like "guaranteed without ripping you off. 24 hours a day only on your hit music station!"
Boy, that's too much. And this is the short version. The thing is, that alone is not too hard, but mix it with the above mentioned, the compulsive jingle howling and take away the amusing stories.
Plus: some kind of hardcore-uber-techno-beat running in the so-called "background" all the time triggering your nerves at 160 bpm.
And that after every song.
No, not exactly after. It's more like in between because they may think you already know how it ends once it is half played.
There practically is not one millisecond of silence broadcasted.
They sure have a slogan like "silence is death!" or stuff like that.
Sometimes i wake up and scream, dreaming i was in the car driving and not able to tunr off the radio...

And the winners are:
first_ meeresrausch, a computer animation made by hdm students.
second_ der bildermacher, a short film without spoken dialogue from hamburg
third_ dangle, another short film without dialogue, made in cooperation with av-medien.
And i might add, it was wonderful but i'm really tired. See the results here.

After 17hours of sleep with only one disturbing phone call making me feel sorry, i do not feel that much different now.
I guess seventeen hours is a little too much, even thoug you did not sleep for a while.
As you can see i changed the linklist to the left a little bit, taking into account that i do get to know a lot more fellow bloggers in the next few days, so a new column for the blogs.

And to do really all the best we can, it is necessary to have time for these things and not to wrap our brain around five things at once.
So, we are sorry for the delay, but feel this appropriate to make the movie what it should be.
And we know, you're never finished, you just stop working.

i know i should work 24h by now but i'm tired. Really, nothings going right by now and things turn out to be a little overwhelming. Especially when people don't know you're about to burst and laugh and get loud on things not even worth to talk about when you try to work and concentrate.
And especially (i get to like that word...) when you dislike certain persons getting loud and talking about really unnecessary stuff...
ok, so much to mooding out on that term. now something nice?
