So far everything worked out fine. After several days of continuing zero-sleep behavior, my presentation worked quite well and even the viewers had quite a nice opinion about "the journey", my new machinima prodution-in-progress. Yes, it was a bit too long.
But what made me feel pleased was that most of the viewers did not recognize this was made with unreal 2k3. So finally, there are possibilities to make machinima looking nearly as good as "traditional" 3d animation.
With a very strong emphasize on nearly.
What next?
Finish "nah_sein" after having a hard-disk crash and loosing all editing information. Sound Design starts on monday, a first rough copy is to be delivered to the international short film festival in hamburg on feb. 14th.
And we have a premiere date: 21st february.
And then fly away.
