the new eminem video.
Disses Bush and has a quite cool style.
It really is done about the same way i want to do PT01 in, except they use Flash characters and i want it to be real images of people. Seems i need to hurry, or i'll be too late to call my artwork original :-)

I just never imagined this. NEVER!!!
I was checking my webpage stats on www.zeitbrand.de (i don't do that frequently) and i just couldn't believe my eyes...
Thats 55 Gig. in September! F I F T Y F I V E gigabytes !!!!! And 26 Gig (TWENTYSIX!!!) this month! If this is holding on, i'll get serious trouble with my provider...
Boy, this is just too much. Over 1000 people downloaded "the Journey" and this is just the uMod and Zip versions, another 700 watched the Quicktime movie! OMG!!!!
So what to do? My bandwith is oficially limited to 26 Gig. Oh boy, this is going to be expensive...

i've been offline in many ways the last couple of days. First of all, my provider noticed the small gap between what's on my server and what i'm allowed to have there... resulting in broken links for "the Journey"'s Quicktime version.
I apologize for that, i upload a smaller version just now and i'm trying to upgrade to more serverspace.
Additionally, i was moving - yes, you already know that - plus i visited my friend Isabel in Berlin the last 4 days.
Means i only had very limited screentime. And that was a good decision. Taking a break from the net was more refreshing than i ever thought.

It's a pity the links got screwed. Now either the website link or the Epic Links work.
Apart from that i'm really really happy to be part of the finals and i hope to be able to participate in the grand finals in November. But we'll see.
Other good news is the nah_sein crew getting mentioned in the September Issue of german filmmaker magazine "kameramann".
And what's really making me cheer is the fact that the article is written by them - and they seem to get the point!
Now hooray for that one.
At this point i think it's elemental to thank all people who put their work in the movie to make it as good as it gets. We managed to get a decent film out under terrible circumstances. Thanks so much to everyone of you!

And yes, i'm tired now. Work is great, thanks Christopher, for all those little suprises you do everytime i'm returning to work.

No Bitfilm festival

Well, as i predicted, something must happen, it all went too well. Today i received note that my submission for the bitfilm festival was rejected. I really would have liked to be shown in Germany...
That's the way it goes. ALT-Ctrl didn't want me either, so i guess it's more of a matter of taste than i thought.
Anyway, gotta go sleeping now.

I found a place in Linz! Totally weird circumstances made it possible for me to find a room in a nice, bright 5 person flat share near the center of Linz.
Gotta clear up all the details now and move on sunday.
