Travelling can be relaxing after all. And the quality of life is directly depending on having a chimney, a cushion to sit on "and a glass of brandy", according to some people...

So i find myself in pre-cold New York now, waiting for the Machinima filmfestival to take place this very weekend. My Laptop is broken to the point where i need an external monitor to see what's going on on the screen. I'm broke, shaved, disoriented but happy and i now have new shoes.
Yes, it's that time of the year again...

Also, i almost totally forgot that America is two weeks away from major elections. Time to raise that aviation warning level (no kidding) and set the Terror alarm meter to "elevated". Time to be disgusted (albeit slightly amused) by propagandistic media and things they call "news programming".
It's just so easy to complain... (Ahh, you should hear me bragging about Germany...)
So it seems my ambiguity towards this nation is streching even further, both on the people i encounter and the overall environment (media, environment, stuff like that).
It's getting dark outside and Friedrich starts thinking...
...that time of the year again.
