machinima is youth culture
The renowned "Center for Art and Media" - ZKM in Karlsruhe is showcasing a couple of machinima movies as part of their exhibition "Coolhunters".



"The exhibition seeks to recognize young people in the mirror of their objects and practices. Works from numerous artists, which document and reflect everyday life, are presented besides examples of youth culture phenomena, such as clothing, accessories, and the like."

machinima at Entermultimediale
Yesterday I was showing some machinima movies at the entermultimediale festival in Prague (CZ). There has been quite a bit of interest and a good acceptance of the movies. Also, there was a game art exhibition where you could watch some movies.

and the winner is...

The first realtime festival at the fmx is finally over and we have a winner.
Tom Bezmalinovic's engine won a QuadroFX3200 Graphics Card as best machinima movie.
