after some rather intense travelling all throughout january, i finally have some time to rest in madrid.
But first things first. Like toilet cleaning.

or an after-presentation get-together.

...and the after-after-presentation get-together that ended abruptly with a call from a guy from 3sat, ordering me to Weimar for a short reprtage on machinima (to be aired next Saturday on "neues - die Computershow").
In the meantime, lovely happy birthday...

and oh ouhw... i got older too...thanks to everybody who came to celebrate. It was awesome and it meant a lot to me.

After all the nice and cozy, i had to head for Madrid, to prepare some work for the digital transit exhibition of the medialab madrid.
The work titled "concrete" is an interactive adaption for the Arsbox CAVE system of the two person2184 movies i did last year.
Just because i know some people will smile now:
It deconstructs space and narrative structure through user interaction and instead rebuilds visual, non-contextual links.
What can i say. It's very visual and i think it won't really work without the stereo-3D projection stuff. But hey.
Noone except Erwin and Zach has seen it yet. I hope it's going to be ok...
The hotel is very new wave chic and somewhat augmented. At least!

Unfortunately, neither can be said for the exhibition space though, still looking somewhat empty 36 hours before the official opening...

so, all that's left to do is to wait and see. And relax.
